Payment Policy
At Brown Legacy Memorial, we are committed to providing compassionate and transparent service while helping families navigate the financial aspects of honoring their loved one.
1. Full Payment Required Before Services:
· All services must be paid in full 48-72 hours prior to the scheduled service.
· If full payment is not received within this timeframe, the service may need to be rescheduled to allow the family additional time to ensure the balance is paid.

2. Payment Options:
· We accept cash, credit/debit cards, certified checks, and electronic payments (e.g., CashApp, PayPal, Venmo).
· Payment plans can only be approved by a financial institution (bank or credit union).
***This does not include pre-need arrangement payments.

3. Insurance Assignments:
· We accept verified life insurance assignments as a payment option as long as it is not contestable (it must be over two years in maturity). Families need to provide policy information at the arrangement meeting to allow time for verification and processing.
· A 5% processing fee will be applied to all insurance assignments to cover administrative and verification costs.

4. Oversized Fees:
· Additional fees may apply for individuals requiring oversized caskets, cremation containers, or accommodations.

5. Non-Payment Policy:
· In cases where payments are not fulfilled, Brown Legacy Memorial reserves the right to reschedule services or withhold merchandise until payment arrangements are made and paid in full.
